Our Focus
Chinese folk dance is the essence of Chinese Cultural
performing arts. The mission of the Red Shoes Performing
Arts Center is to provide an opportunity for Chinese American
youths to learn and explore these dance forms and techniques.
Through trainings and explorations, participants will
learn their own cultural characteristics and the beautiful
movement of Chinese folk dance, at the same time build
up their physical strength and inner beauty. Periodically
we provide performance opportunities to participants so
that they can showcase their hidden performing talents
and further develop their interests in this subject, self
confidence and courage.
